Avoiding the 3 'M's - Resource Kit

The Integrated Violence, Abuse and Neglect Statistics and Research Project (the Project) was developed as a joint initiative of NSW Health’s Education Centre Against Violence and the Prevention and Response to Violence, Abuse and Neglect (PARVAN) Unit in the NSW Ministry of Health. Infographics and fact sheets were developed to help NSW Health workers understand and communicate relevant violence, abuse and neglect statistics and research accurately and succinctly and to dispel myths, mistakes and misinformation about them.   

A print kit was developed to supplement the digital resources, which included 3x factsheet booklets and a 204 page book within a custom presentation folder. The infographics used in this project grew from previous work with the team where we developed a library of icons. This project required especially close attention to detail due to the extensive statistical data.
