PARVAN publications (2020–Present)

Since 2020, I have been commissioned to design a range of publications for NSW Health’s Prevention and Response to Violence, Abuse and Neglect (PARVAN) unit. In the early stages, my focus was on creating polished, accessible documents that met government standards while clearly presenting complex policy and research content.

From 2022 onward, I’ve worked within the comprehensive NSW Government branding guidelines, continuing to prioritise legibility, accessibility, and thoughtful visual hierarchy. Many of these projects involve distilling intricate systems into succinct, engaging infographics and designing supporting navigation tools and layouts that enhance usability.

I regularly design charts, graphs, and tables to be both clear and respectful of the sensitive subject matter. Photo selection is a deliberate process—carefully balancing inclusivity and emotional impact while ensuring accurate representation of NSW’s diverse communities.

These projects often require collaboration with multiple stakeholders, and I’m well-versed in NSW Health’s processes, communication styles, and design expectations. My work consistently reflects an understanding of both the content and the broader social context in which it sits.
